Longhouse was designed to provide a contemporary private home, comprising a single storey main house incorporating a gigantic living room with huge picture windows, the bedrooms and private accommodation are situated in each wing separated from the living area by two internal courtyards with sliding glass roofs. An adjacent Guest House, which is known as the Spitaki (greek for ‘little house’) provides two additional bedrooms and a living room or gymnasium/games room.
Showing a strong Asian influence with its minimalist interiors, Longhouse carefully blends internal and external spaces using natural materials throughout.
